Cesar Moniz, age 82 of Wareham, previously of S. Yarmouth, passed away Feb. 22, 2008. Husband of the late Olive (Lima) Moniz. Born in Fall River, son of the late Henry & Mary (Brilliant) Moniz. Before retiring, he was a Manager for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. He was a US Army veteran of WW II, serving as a Medical Aidman with the 331st Infantry Regiment. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed jazz music, and was a member of the F.R. Country Club & Bass River Country Club.
He is survived by 1 Brother: Henry Monis of Canada. 2 Sisters: Alice Viveiros & Olive Rogers both of Fall River and many nieces & nephews. He was the brother of the late Manuel Moniz, Mary Bigelow, & Adelaide Amaral.
His funeral service will take place in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA on Wednesday at 11 A.M. with visitation from 10-11 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery.
