Daniel J. Sullivan age 78 of Salem and Ashland, NH, formerly of North Andover, MA, died Friday at his home in Salem.
He was born in Lawrence, MA, where he grew up and attended schools, and graduated from Lawrence High School. He later received his BA from Colby College in Waterville, ME, and then received a BS and Masters Degree from Northeastern University in electrical engineering.
Mr. Sullivan was an Engineering Program Manager for Textron in Wilmington, MA, where he worked for over 30 years. He currently was working as manager for the Ambassador Program at Tenney Mountain. He was a US Navy Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem and was very involved at the Salem Athletic Club and Brookston Golf Club.
He was an avid skier, golfer, and loved boating on Squam Lake.
He was predeceased by his wife Joan M. (Giles) Sullivan

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 10:30 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Salem. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
Calling hours will be held Monday, Feb, 25 from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH
