Mary E. Chabot,92 of Putnam Pike, formerly of Glocester, died Friday, February 22, 2008 at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Leo H. Chabot.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Jacobs) Hannaway. She had lived in Pawtucket before moving to Glocester.
After raising her three sons she worked for ten years as an assembler at Texas Instruments before retiring in 1978.
She is survived by her sons, Leo H. Chabot, Jr. and his wife Chris, of Glocester, Donald E. Chabot and his wife Karen and Bryan W. Chabot and his wife, Dee all of Smithfield, eight grandchildren, and a great grandson and two great granddaughters and a sister Rosalie Dickie. She was the sister of the late John and James Hannaway.
Funeral Monday at 8:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial in Swan Point Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 3-6. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to A Wish Come True, 1010 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI 02888.
