Elizabeth Copeland Daniel was born in Madison County on November 27, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Mary E. Copeland. She departed this life on February 21, 2008.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. She later united with Douglas Tabernacle and served faithfully until her health failed.
She leaves to cherish her memories a beloved and devoted husband, John Daniel; daughter, Sandra “Nisey” Morris and friend, Samuel Taylor; devoted grandchildren: Shecola (Terrell) Thomas, Frednando (Brenda) Battle; three stepchildren: Willie Mae Jones, David Jones, and Betty Jones; eight great grandchildren and a cherished great grandchild, Xaivier and five step great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-laws: Lorene Townsend, Louise Lightfoot, Callie (Bruce) Horton, Mae Willie Harden, Amanda (George) Murphy, Elizabeth Daniel, and James Joiner; and a very special cousin: Melinda Moore and a devoted caregiver, James Battle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Copeland Daniel will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from the Douglas Tabernacle P. B. Church. Interment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
