Nicholas A. Giliberti, of Medford, died Sunday at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He was 84.
Mr. Giliberti was born in Boston’s North End and lived most of his life in Medford, the son of the late Frank and the late Maria (DiAngelo) Giliberti. In his youth he was a pizza maker at the former DePasquale Bros. restaurant in South Medford. He later joined the teamsters union and worked for Dave's Motor Trans. in East Boston for over 30 years. Nicholas was a good husband and uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his beloved wife Helen (Barrasso), sisters Jennie Rocci, Anna DiGiovanni and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by bothers Frank and Peter and a sister Josephine Kurker.
Relatives and friends may visit Sunday from 3 thru 7 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Procession will gather Monday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
