Carla Alice Hyndman-Keller, 66, born January 15, 1942 in Manhattan, NY, died February 18, 2008 in her home in Londonderry, NH after a hard fought battle with cancer with her husband, David K. Keller and her sister Martha Gray Prudhomme at her side. Carla was a fine artist during the early 1960s, a cum laude graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. Her crowning achievement was the breeding of her world-class champion English Labrador Retrievers with the kennel name Saltmeadow. She was also a member of the Labrador Retrievers Club of Greater Boston. She will be sorely missed amongst all who know and love this breed.
She is survived by her husband, David Karl Keller, her stepchildren, Sean Paul Keller & Ena Shasteen, David Andrew Keller & Jennifer Keller, Sonya Christina Keller & Kathleen Driscoll, Solomon David Keller, Seattle Robin Keller, and Sabra Tantara Keller; her step-grandchildren, Guinevere Keller & Marina Keller; her father-in-law, Paul Gustav Keller & partner Mariella Manville; her brother & sister-in-law; William Paul Keller and Jaunita Diana (Keller) Baron; her sister, Martha Gray Prudhomme and Alfred Ray Prudhomme; her nephews and niece, Neil “Kip” Gray Jr. & Christina A. Gray, Donald Hemmett Gray & Lynn Gray, and Jennifer Catherine Gray; her great nephew and niece, Brett Andrew Gray & Rachel Marie Gray. Ms. Hyndman-Keller was predeceased by her parents, Genevieve Schelling Hyndman and Donald Earl Hyndman, and her brother, John Stuart Hyndman.
Following cremation a memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 27th at 2:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
