Josephine E. (Bonaccorsi) Bertocchi, 88, of Manchester died February 19, 2008 at Hanover Hill Health Care Center after a brief illness.
Born in Lawrence, MA on January 25, 1920, she was the daughter of Alfio and Alfia (Scuderi) Bonaccorsi. She lived in Malden, MA most of her life. She also lived in Andover, MA before moving to Manchester 20 years ago.
Mrs. Bertocchi worked many years as a legal secretary for the law firm of Palmer and Dodge in Boston, MA, and as a secretary for Malden Hospital.
She was married 56 years to Robert Bertocchi who died in 1997. After his death, she volunteered at Elliot Hospital.
She enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren
The family includes two daughters, Diane Bardorf of Bedford and Lisa Watkins of Bow; cousins, nieces and nephews.
IN HER LIFE: The family also includes four grandchildren, William R. Willitts of Portland, ME, Michael J. Willitts of Bedford, Mary E. Willitts of Manchester and Laura E. Herlehy of Bow.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday February 23, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. Burial was in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence, MA
