In Taunton, February 19, 2008 Marguerite L. Hoye daughter of the late Charles E. and Sarah (Morris) Hoye died at Marion Manor Nursing Home at the age of 98. Marguerite was born and spent all her life in Taunton residing on Summer Street formerly of Adams Street and Mattapoisett. Educated in St. Mary’s School Marguerite Attended Fitchburg State Collage and received her masters at Bridgewater State Collage. Marguerite was a teacher for the Taunton Public Schools and was Principal for Maxum School retiring in 1972. Marguerite belonged to the Delta Capa Gama, Woman’s Guild at St. Mary’s, Holy Union Associates, Queens Daughters and Bristol County Retired Teachers. She was the sister of the late Eleanor Clement, Alice Griffin, Ruth G. Hoye, Charles Hoye MD and William J. Hoye. Aunt of Several Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews and Great Great Nieces and Nephews. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Saturday morning February 23rd from 9 am to 10:30 am. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Taunton Saturday morning at 11 AM. Interment St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
