Obituary

Louise (Wasserman) Dobrin, 89 of Londonderry, NH died Tuesday February 19, 2008 in the Harborside-Northwood Healthcare in Bedford, NH. Mrs. Dobrin was born in NYC, NY on January 18, 1919 the daughter of the late Morris and Golda Wasserman. She had resided in Londonderry for the past 20 years, formerly living in Brooklyn, NY. She was employed as a legal secretary by Levin, Weintaurb & Crames in NYC. She was passionate musician and a concert quality pianist. She traveled and performed with the NH Friendship Chorus and was a longtime member of the Hollis Band where she played the bells. Mrs. Dobrin spoke four languages and was competent in five others. She was avid photographer, an excellent artist and even designed her own clothes. She was a great world traveler, a lover of animals and a lot of fun to be with.
She is survived by her daughter, Gilda R. Guttman and son-in-law, Bruce of Londonderry, also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Morris H. Dobrin in 1977.
Following cremation, calling hours were held on Friday February 22, 2008 from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
