Vada Lou Banes Warren, 94, of Omega, formerly of Louisville, Mississippi, died Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at her daughter's residence in Omega. Funeral services will be held at a later date in Louisville, Mississippi with burial to be held in Bethlehem Church Cemetery in Louisville, Mississippi. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 22, 2008, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Warren was born on November 27, 1913 in Winston County, Mississippi and was the daughter of Dennis Banes and Vicortia Scott Banes, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brutus Warren; one son, R. B. Warren; one daughter, Mary Nell Moore; and two grandchildren. She was a homemaker and loved quilting. She had lived in Tifton for the last 18 years.
Ms. Warren is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Grace Warren of Mississippi; three daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth Lowery of Omega, Bobbie and P. J. Warren of Omega, Betty and David Lowery of Louisville, Mississippi, and Ben T. Moore of Omega; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
