Worcester - Rose Ann Scott, 41 of 26 Gardner Street died on Wednesday February 5 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center - University Campus after being involved in a car accident on January 31 on West Boylston Street.
She leaves her husband of 26 years Donald Mallett of Worcester; a daughter Deanna Mallett of Worcester; her mother Rose B. (Boyle) Nelson of Worcester; three step daughters Dawn Dupre, Shawna Dupre and Tanya Dumas all of Worcester; four brothers David J. Everson of Alexandria, Louisiana, Billy Everson of Worcester, Tommy E. Scott of Worcester and Arthur R. Scott of Worcester; three sisters Alice A. Chapin of Fort Meyers, FL, Margaret R. Perrin of Webster and Dorothy M. Scott of Worcester and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a Brother Walter E. Scott Jr.. Ms. Scott was born in Worcester daughter of Walter E. Scott.
She worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for the past 5 years.
The funeral will be held on Saturday February 8 at 9:30 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are on Friday February 7 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent or donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
