Mabel K. (Tucker) Reavey, 98, died quietly on Monday, February
18th, at St. Mary Health Care Center, Worcester, Ma. Her husband, Thomas
Timothy, preceded her in death in 1976. She is survived by her daughter,
Marcia A. (Reavey) O'Connor of Holden, and her husband, Roderick; her son,
Richard T. Reavey, and his wife, Claire, of New Braintree; four
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Mabel was born in North Brookfield on February 28th, 1909, the
daughter of Charles and Margaret (Thornton) Tucker. She spent her adult
life in Spencer, graduating from David Prouty High School and Becker
Secretarial School. She was a secretary at several area manufacturing
companies, retiring from H.H. Brown Shoe Co. in 1976.
In her quiet moments, she enjoyed long walks, reading, and
spending time with her grandchildren.
At the families request funeral services are private. Burial in Mary, Queen
of the Rosary Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. The J.
HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer are directing
arrangements.
