Elizabeth R. Dixon
...Golden Age Club Member, age 94

Elizabeth R. (Brown) Dixon, died Monday, February 18, at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley in Billerica, after a long period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward R. Dixon. She was born on May 5, 1913, in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Cataldo) Brown. She was raised in Brookline and had been a resident of Tewksbury since 1943.
She had been a school cafeteria worker at Heath Brook and North Street Schools. In addition to devoting her life to her family, she was active in the Tewksbury Senior Center, Golden Age Club, and involved in St. Williams Church Fundraising, especially with the Mardi Gras as well as the Drum and Bugle Corp.
She is survived by several children: E. Roberta Dixon of SC, E. Robert and his wife Jan Dixon of Tewksbury, J. Patricia Dixon of CO, Delores L. (Dixon) and her late husband James Scales of Brockton, Dorothy R. Dixon and Linda A. "Dearie" Woods of Tewksbury, Marie L. (Dixon) and her husband Charles Chretien of NH, Mary E. Calobrisi-Ross and her husband Darren Ross of North Andover; sisters Estelle Redd and Annette Richardson of GA; twelve grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was the sister of the late Isabelle, Emma, Zilpha, Ned, Will, Bobby, David, and Tony.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated February 22 in Saint Williams Church, Tewksbury. Burial was at Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472, will be appreciated.
