Charles J. Marsella, 102, of Everly Street died Monday at Miriam Hospital.
Born in Italy, a son of the late Giuseppe and Bernarda (Galante) Marsella, he had lived in Cranston for 12 years and had previously lived in Charlestown.
Mr. Marsella was a WWII Army veteran. He was a gifted artist and was a model maker and jewelry designer for the Foster Jewelry Company in Providence until his retirement.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Inglesi of Cranston and a brother, Frank Marsella of Cranston. He was the brother of the late Susan, Alfred and Agnes Marsella, Alda Ventrone and Sadie DiMeglio.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:30am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Wednesday 9:30am to 10:30am.
