Mrs. Frances B. (Byrne) Campbell of Andover, beloved wife of the late Robert J. Campbell, Sr., died at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen on Saturday, February 16, 2008. She was 84 years old.
Born in Andover, Massachusetts, on September 9, 1923, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Mary (Nugent) Byrne. Mrs. Campbell was a Eucharistic minister at St. Augustine Church in Andover for many years and was a member of the Andover Senior Center, the Andover Historical Society and the Hibernians. She was also a member of the Red Hat Club.
She will be sorely missed by two daughters and one son-in-law; Eileen Soucy of Londonderry, New Hampshire and Maureen and her husband Richard Landry of Windham, New Hampshire, two sons and two daughters-in-law; Robert J., Jr. and his wife, Alice Campbell of Andover and Frank and his wife Renee Campbell of Northfield, New Hampshire, eight grandchildren; Jay, Michael and Caitlin Soucy, Jen, Rich and Elizabeth Landry and Erin and Chrissy Campbell and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, Thursday, February 21, 2008, at 10 AM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Calling hours were held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home 390 North Main Street, Andover, Wednesday, February 20, 2008, from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM. Burial was in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover.
