Anita Marie Caruso, 72 of Franklin and formerly of Attleboro and Newport, Rhode Island died February 16 in the Medway Country Manor.
Born in Waltham, April 3, 1935, the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Keenan) Caruso, she was raised in Waltham and had lived in Attleboro and Newport for many years.
Anita had been a secretary for many businesses over the years.
She enjoyed and was a talented sewer.
She is survived by her sons, Paul Moran of Epsom, NH and Michael Moran of Upton, daughters, Susan Gaulin of Woonsocket, RI, Anita Marden of Portsmouth, NH and Judith Davis of Franklin. She was the mother of the late Stephen and Kevin Moran.
She is also survived by a brother, Francis Caruso of Florida and her sisters, Josephine Silinsky of Waltham, Louise Mantile of Waltham, Jeannette Wilson of NH, Karen Eagan of Mass. and Elizabeth Rhodes of Florida. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 20 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin 131 Main St. in Franklin at 8:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 9:00.
Burial will be private in Calvary Cemetery in Waltham.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.
