Thomas J. “T.J.” Spell, 16, of Fitzgerald was found Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Boney’s Ferry Landing on the Ocmulgee River in Telfair County.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, February 20 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Lloyd Stembridge officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
T.J. was born March 29, 1991 in Fitzgerald, Georgia to Bruce and Susan Brown Spell. He was a ninth grade student at Fitzgerald High School where he was a member of the Future Farmers of America. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed riding four-wheelers, and loved country music. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
T.J. is survived by his parents: Bruce and Susan Spell of Fitzgerald; two sisters: Melanie Brown of Baconton and Amy S. Brown of Leesburg; several aunts, uncles, and cousins including: Terry Spell of Fitzgerald; as well as many friends.
