Obituary

Mr. George H. Hannigan, II of Derry, New Hampshire, formerly of Revere and Chelsea, died at his home in Derry following a short battle with cancer, surrounded by his family, on February, 15, 2008. He was 51 years old.
Born in Winthrop, Massachusetts, he was the beloved son of Theresa D. (Fortier) and the late George H. Hannigan, Jr. Mr. Hannigan was a graduate of the Northeast Regional Vocational High School, class of 1974. He worked in the printing industry at Daniel’s Printing in Chelsea, for more than 20 years. In 2000, Mr. Hannigan moved to Derry, New Hampshire.
Besides his beloved mother, Theresa, he will be very sorely missed by one son and one daughter-in-law; George H., III and his wife Tiffany Hannigan of Derry, New Hampshire, two daughters; Robyn Hannigan of Derry and Melanie Hannigan of Florida, one sister and one brother-in-law; Patricia and her husband Anthony Puccilli of Derry, three devoted grandchildren; Joseph, Kenneth and Christopher Hannigan, one niece; Danielle Puccilli and one nephew; Andrew Puccilli.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 133 Beach Street, Revere, Tuesday at Noon. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Calling hours were in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Sunday from 4 to 8 PM and Monday from 5 to 8 PM. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
