Gladys Marie Willson, 76, Clarksville, died Friday, February 15, 2008, at Spring Meadows Health Care Center.
The funeral will be held at 1 pm Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Paul Tramel officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 pm Monday and from 11 am until the hour of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born June 23, 1931 in Montgomery County daughter of the late Richard Allen York, Sr. and Minnie Black York.
She was retired from the Montgomery County School System and was a member of Forest Street United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, John Reed Willson. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on August 16, 2007. Other survivors are a son Donald Reed Willson, Huntsville, AL; a daughter, Teresa Bracy, Clarksville; a brother, Rodney York, Clarksville; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gary Byard, Johnny Dennis, Rudy Eden, Phillip Swift, Jason York and Todd York.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 2008 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203-2003.
