Obituary

Edward F. Walsh, 68 of East Boston, died Thursday unexpectedly at home.

Born in Boston, he lived in East Boston for the past 23 years and formerly of Medford and Roxbury. Edward was a Stock Broker and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1962 to 1964.
Cherished son of the late Mary Aloysius (Hurley) and James Walsh. Brother of James J. Walsh of Quebec, Canada, Leo Walsh of Florida, Paul Walsh of Malden, Donald Walsh of South Boston, twin brother Elliot Walsh of Rhode Island, Carol A. Barretto of Medford, and the late Marie A. Considine. Also survived by 15 nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 10 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9 AM to 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be sent in Edward’s name to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
