Rita L. Godbout
Manchester– Rita L. Godbout, 75, died February 15, 2008 at Villa Crest Health Care Center following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Manchester on January 12, 1933 the daughter of Romeo and Antoinette (Plourde) Lemay. She had been a lifelong resident of the city.
Prior to her retirement she was a registered nurse at the Catholic Medical Center for 38 years.
She enjoyed reading and she played several musical instruments.
In Her Life: Family members include her husband of 51 years Stevens Godbout, of Manchester, two sons Marc Godbout and his wife Cindy of Derry, Michael Godbout and his wife Ana of Manchester, one daughter Judith Godbout, of Manchester, four grandchildren, and one sister Elaine Merrifield, of Troy NH.
Services: calling hours will be Tuesday from 3 to 7 pm in J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 am in Ste. Marie Church, Notre Dame Ave.
Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
