New Bedford, MA. –Graciano Carvalho age 89 years passed away February 15, 2008 at Hallmark Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Maria D.A. (Gualdine) Carvalho formerly of Fruit St. New Bedford, MA. He was the father of Jorge and his wife Donna Lee Carvalho of Acushnet, MA., and Patricina Marques of Portugal. He was the loving grandfather of Michelle Felix, Dana Marie Carvalho and Aaron Carvalho. He was the great-grandfather of Joshua Felix, Luca Felix and Dillion Felix.
Mr. Carvalho was the son of Jose and Gertrus (des Carvalho) Carvalho. He was born in Portugal. Mr. Carvalho worked as Construction Laborer until his retirement.
Mr. Carvalho’s Funeral will be Tuesday at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 8:00 A.M with a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at St John Cemetery New Bedford MA. Visiting hours are Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
