Levin, Charlotte B. (Bassett) of Hingham entered into rest in her 74th year February 14, 2008.
The beloved wife of William B. Levin. Loving mother of Raymond B. of Kingston, Steven M. and his wife Margaret and Paula K. Levin, all of Hingham, and Nanci J. & her husband Richard Underwood of Rockville, Md. Sister of Vivian Jacobson of Pinehurst, N.C.
Charlotte, born in Chicago, was a 1955 graduate of Perdue Univ., living in Hingham for the past 50 yrs,she was on the National Executive Board and Eastern Region President for the Woman's American Organization for Rehabilitation through Training, resigning 15 yrs ago. She was an avid bridge player, tennis player and golfer with membership at the Cohasset Tennis Club. Mrs Levin adored her 5 grandchildren; Jake, Jesse, Audrey, Lyndsay and Danielle, and loved spending time with them.
Service at the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. Hingham on Sunday at 11:00 AM.
Memorial observance at the home address Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM.
