Annie Ruth Gray White, 69, a native and resident of Oxford, MS, died at 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008. She was born February 20, 1938 in Batesville, MS to Willie and Myrtle Gray.
She is survived by three sons, James A. White Jr. and wife, Natalie, of Hernando, MS and Willard D. White of Oxford, Michael E. White of Southaven, MS. One Daughter, Kathy Wilkinson, and Husband James of Grenada. She was preceded in death with a Daughter, Lori A. Self of Crowder, MS.
She is survived by 9 granddaughters, 3 grandsons and 8 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind 3 brothers and one sister. Albert Gray of Batesville, MS, Ray Rhyne of Water Valley, MS, Dwight Rhyne and wife Donna of Water Valley, MS, Rita Motts and husband Ray of Paris, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ann was a volunteer grandmother for the North Mississippi Regional Center. She was a member of the First Baptist church in Water Valley.
Funeral arrangements are Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Crowder Baptist Church in Crowder, MS. Visitaion is from 10am to 2pm. Burial is at the Crowder Cemetery.
Memorial bequests may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
