Gil Gracia, age 73 of Somerset. Husband of Barbara (Amaral) Gracia. Son of the late Francisco & Maria (Oliveira) Gracia. Passed away at home Feb. 13, 2008. Born in Fall River, he was a Somerset resident since 1968. He was a member of St. John of God Church & enjoyed carving, painting, sketching, carpentry & gardening. Before retiring, he was a machinist for Lessonia Corp. & was a MA Army National Guard Veteran.
Besides his wife of Somerset, he is survived by 5 children: Gilbert Gracia of Taunton, Susan M. Barboza of Swansea, Robert Gracia of Somerset, and twin daughters Sharon A. Rego & Sheryl A. Gracia both of Swansea; 5 siblings: Francis & Antone Gracia, Theresa Sardinha all of Swansea, Albert Gracia of Rehoboth & Tina Silvia of Fall River; 3 grandsons & l granddaughter & many nieces & nephews. He was brother of the late Lawrence Gracia.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Saturday at 7:45 A.M. with a funeral mass in St. John of God Church at 9 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset. Calling hours Friday 4-8 P.M.
