Mrs. Annie McCormick, 78, of Oxford, MS, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at the Graceland Care Center in Oxford, MS. She was born January 10, 1930 to the late Vester F. & Macy Potts McClain in Oxford, MS. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Oxford, MS.
The visitation will be Friday, February 15, 2008 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Friday, February 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS, with Rev. Shannon Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS with Travis York, Joe Dettor, Johnny Dettor, Billy Alexander, Jake Pierce, and Roy Hollinger serving as pallbearers.
Mrs. McCormick is survived by her sister, Ruthie Pierce of Oxford, MS.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Dudley McCormick on November 18, 1989.
