DUDLEY — Sybil B. (Boutin) Grzyb, 83, of 24 Chestnut St., died Wednesday, February 13, at home surrounded by her family.
She leaves her husband of 60 years, Louis C. Grzyb, Sr.; 2 sons, Louis C. “Butch” Grzyb, Jr. and his wife Marianne and Anthony H.”Tony” Grzyb, all of Dudley; 5 grandchildren, Dawn, Jennifer, Johnhenry, Sabrina and Jacob; a great granddaughter Alexis; many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Putnam, CT, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Bourassa) Boutin. She was raised in North Grosvenordale, CT and moved to Dudley when she married in 1947. She graduated from Tourtellotte Memorial High School in North Grosvenordale.
Mrs. Grzyb was a winder at Belding Corticelli Company in both their North Grosvenordale and Putnam plants before retiring. She also worked at Sandlerette Footware Company in Webster.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Webster. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and playing cards. She was an avid Red Sox fan, big time!
The funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 16, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, with a Mass at noon in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St., Webster. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. Calling hours will be from 9:30 to 11:30 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
