Mrs. Ann M. Borgatti, 90, entered into rest Saturday, February 2, 2008 in the Bahamas. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Borgatti and daughter of the late Iride and John Meloni.
Born in Wellesley, she also lived in Tucson, Arizona and was a resident of St. Petersburg, Florida. She graduated from Wellesley High School in 1935, and was a retired employee of the University of Arizona where she worked as a secretary. She was also a member of the St. Paul's Lodge Italian Club in St. Petersburg, Florida.
She is survived by her son Richard Borgatti and his wife Betsy of Martinez, GA; three grandchildren Donna Bewley and her husband Ken of Aloha, OR; Sarah Borgatti and Philip Borgatti, both of Martinez, GA, and one great grandchild, Paige Bewley; her sisters Sybil Tedoldi, Ninfa C. Meloni and her brother Oscar Meloni, all of St. Petersburg, FL, and brothers John Meloni of Framingham and William Meloni of Wellesley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Rt.16) Wellesley, on Saturday at 8 AM with a funeral mass in St. Paul’s Church, Wellesley, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 7-9 PM at the funeral Home.
