Bessie Wall Rinehart Bessie Wall Rinehart, 95, Signal Mountain, TN, formerly of Clarksville, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at Memorial Health Care System, Chattanooga, TN. The funeral will be held at 1 pm Thursday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Matt Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born November 25, 1912 in Clarksville, TN daughter of Robert E. Wall and Annie Laura Edmondson Wall. Ms. Rinehart was the oldest Bethlehem United Methodist Church Member. She graduated from Austin Peay State College in 1932 and was a teacher in the Montgomery County School System. She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Rinehart, a son John Boyd Rinehart, and a sister, Julia Wall Wenzler.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann R. Cornwell and son-in-law, Dr. William Cornwell, of Signal Mountain. TN; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 1324 Gholson Road, Clarksville, TN 37043.
