Grace A. (Cullen) Cutter, a fifty year resident of Abington, formerly of Holbrook, passed away on Saturday February 9, 2008 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 74 years old. She was also the beloved wife of the late Albert J. Cutter who passed away in 1986
Born July 20, 1933 in Randolph, Massachusetts Grace was a daughter of the late John F. and Mary F. (Fagan) Cullen. She attended Randolph Public Schools and was a graduate of Randolph High School.
She was employed for many years as a Packer for the former College Town Clothing Co. in Randolph. She was also a communicant of St. Bridget’s Church in Abington.
Grace loved vacationing in Chatham, MA with her family.
Mrs. Cutter is survived by her children, Donna Eversmeyer and her husband Jerry of PA, Mary Simon and her husband Michael of Mashpee, Albert Joseph “Butch” Cutter and his wife Sue of Abington, Steve Cutter and his wife Miriam of Whitman, Gwen Barrett and her husband George also of Abington, and Christopher J. Cutter and his wife Debbie of East Bridgewater. She is also survived by her 3 sisters, Margaret Kourafas of Chatham, Rita Geary of Stoneham, Jean Burnie and her husband Ben of Harwich, and her brother James Cullen and his wife Jean also of Chatham. Other survivors include her thirteen grandchildren, 2 great- grandchildren, her sister-in-law Ruth Johnston of Eastham and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday February 14, 2008 at 7:45 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, 666 Plymouth Street (At the Rt. 58 Rotary) Whitman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial for the repose of her soul at 9:00 AM in St. Bridget’s Church, 455 Plymouth Street, Abington. The Pastor Rev. James M. Mahoney officiating. Burial will follow in Milton cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday February 13, 2008 from 4-8 PM in the funeral chapel.
