CHELMSFORD - Mary (Domalik) Rivard, 84, a resident of Chelmsford for the last 5 years, diedpeacefully, Monday, Feb. 3, at the Sunny Acres Nursing Care facility in Chelmsford after a short illness. She was the wife of Amedee Rivard, who died on June 23, 1994.
She was born in Detroit, Michigan, Oct. 31, 1918, a daughter of the late Jan and Karolina(Piecuch) Rivard. She lived the greater part of her life in Detroit and Marysville, Michigan, before moving toChelmsford 5 years ago.
Before retirement, she was employed as a production supervisor for the Champion SparkplugCompany.
She was a member of St. Christopher’s Church in Marysville Michigan, and St. Mary’s Church inChelmsford. She was also a member of the C.N.P. - Polish National Alliance.
She is survived by two daughters; Marcella Rivard of Chelmsford, Alicia Troyer of St. ClairShores, Mich., a son; Kenneth Rivard of Marysville, Mich., a sister; Irene Gatini of Mich., fivegrandchildren; Jeffrey and Danielle Sultan, Ashley, Jonathan, and Jacob Troyer, and several niecesand nephews.
She was also sister of the late Stanley Wojick, John Michalic, and Helen Pokaj.
At her request, funeral services were private. A memorial service will be held at St. Christopher’sChurch, at a date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Lowell Assn. forthe Blind, 174 Central St. Lowell, MA 01852 or to St. Christophers’s Church, 1000 Michigan Ave., Marysville, MI,48040, will be appreciated.
