WEBSTER – Mary B. (Beaudette) Hoffman, 81, of 2 East Main Street, died Sunday, February 10, in St. Vincent Hospital. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Treffley “Pete” Hebert and by her second husband, Samuel Hoffman, Sr.
She leaves 2 sons, Treffley J. Hebert of Putnam, CT and Samuel “Bimbo” Hoffman, Jr. of Worcester; 3 daughters, Carrol Ann Parris and Jeanne Germain, with whom she lived, and Elizabeth M. “Betsy” Davis of Charlton; a brother, Henry Beaudette in Florida; 24 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Joseph Hebert.
She was born in Lowell and raised in Worcester and Southbridge, a daughter of Emile and Adriana (Beaumier) Beaudette. She then lived in North Grosvenordale, CT before moving to Webster in 1955. She attended Perkins Institution for the Blind.
Mrs. Hoffman was a machine operator at Russell Harrington Company in Southbridge for several years before retiring. She enjoyed her weekly yard sales and knitting.
Memorial calling hours will be held Friday, February 15, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, with a funeral service at 7:30 PM in the funeral home.Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
