Obituary

Clarence H. Derosier, Jr. 85, of 37 Lake St., died Friday, Feb. 8
at The Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 56 years, Leatrice E. (Tracy) Derosier, a son David R.
Derosier of Spencer, a sister Lorraine Doolittle of Spencer, a step son
Robert E. Lucier and his wife Carole of Vero Beach, Fl., two step
grandchildren Antoinette Hanson in Fla. and Timothy R. Lucier of
SanFrancisco, Calif.
Mr. Derosier was a truckdriver for R.B. Sahagen Co. in Rochdale, where he
worked for 34 years, retiring in 1984.
He served his country in the U.S.Army during WWII, and survived the Battle
of Iwo Jima. He was a member of the Worcester Chapter of the Disabled
American Veterans, and the Gaudette-Kirk Post 138 American Legion in
Spencer. He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. An avid speed
skater, he competed into his 70's.
Born in E.Brookfield, he was the son of Clarence H. and Flora (L'Heureux)
Derosier, Sr.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 12 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON
FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 12p.m. in Our Lady of
the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial with Military Honors will
follow in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are
Monday, Feb. 11 from 6 to 8p.m. Flowers may be sent or contributions made to
Mary,Queen of the Rosary Food Pantry or Martha-Mary Guild, 60 Maple St.,
Spencer, Ma. 01562
