WEBSTER — Doris P. (Gauthier) St.Hilaire, 78, of 7 Normandy Avenue, died Friday, February 8, at Hubbard Regional Hospital after being stricken ill at home.
She leaves her husband of 51 years, Roland H. St.Hilaire; 3 children, Francis J. Cusson of Phoenix, AZ, Charles E. Cusson and his wife Jeanne of Auburn, PA, and Brenda R. Milestone of Worcester; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Edmund Cusson of Danielson, CT in 2004 and by her grandson, Richard A. Cusson in 2002.
She was born in Leominster, one of the 12 children of Joseph and Alzema Gauthier, and lived in Webster most of her life.
Mrs. St.Hilaire was first a stitcher and then a supervisor at B & W Footwear Company for 37 years before retiring in 1994.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She enjoyed bowling in the leagues at the Mohegan Bowl-A-Drome and knitting.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 16, in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Donations in her memory may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 18 East Main Street, Webster, MA 01570. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street.
