Cox, Keith O., age 66, died peacefully on January 30, 2003 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. He was the loving husband of 41 years Ila I. (Harris) Cox.He was born in Barbados on May 16, 1936, a son, of the late Hilton Thompson and Pearl Cox. A resident of Medford since 1987 formerly of Cambridge. Mr. Cox was employed as a machinist for American Engineering Componants for over 30 years.Keith was a wonderful family man dedicated to his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Keith’s hobbies include baseball and cricket. Besides his beloved wife Ila, he is survived by four loving children, David Cox, Ronald T. and his wife Laura I. Cox of Hudson, New Hampshire, Joan L. Cox of Medford and Arlene E. Cox of Everett. Devoted brother of Elaine, Audrey, Marjorie, Vere, Orma, Barbara, Lucille, Derek and Victor. Cherished grandfather of Jeremy S. and Jennifer M. Cox, both of Hudson, N.H. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Monday at 12:00 o’clock. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held Monday, prior to the service from 10 to 12 PM.
