Of Needham, February 7, 2008, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Sarah (Fadden) Heffernan. Devoted father of Mary A. Leighton and her husband John H. of Congers, NY, Lee Heffernan Jr. and his wife Jane of Falmouth, Bill F. Heffernan and his wife Cindy of Harwinton, CT, and Bob E. Heffernan and his wife Kathy of Townsend, MA. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Brother of Lillian Wright of Sudbury. Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM (exit 19B off 128) Monday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew's Church, Needham, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
