Gertrude Hollis, 89, of Putnam Pike, Greenville, died Wednesday at Haven Health Center. She was the wife of Ernest T. Hollis.
Born in Medford, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late John & Ellen (Boyle) Dwyer. She had been a resident of Greenville for 3 years and had previously lived in Harwich and Reading, Massachusetts.
Besides her husband she is survived by a son Thomas A. Hollis of North Providence, two daughters, Kathleen Furtado of Newton, MA and Jane Berrigan of York, Maine and seven grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 10:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Private burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Harwich, MA. Visitation Friday 8:30-10:30am.
