Rose (Barletta) Malvone, of Medford, died Wednesday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 90.
Rose was born and raised in East Boston, the daughter of the late Bernadino and the late Domenica (Cogliano) Barletta. Wife of “Snuffy” Malvone for 50 years, Rose was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union before her retirement and was a stitcher with Habert Co. and G&T in Roxbury.
She was the beloved wife of Pasquale “Pat” “Snuffy” Malvone. She was a devoted aunt to Dom DiGiorgio, Anthony Correnti, Angie Faiella, Peter Zagarrelo, Lucille Miranda and many other dear nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Sunday 3 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
