HUBBARDSTON; Hazel P. (Cooper) Pearson, 94, of 33 Old Boston Turnpike, died
Monday, February 4 in Baldwinville Nursing Home in Templeton.
She was the wife of Martin V. Pearson who died in 1978.
She leaves a son, Darryl K. Hardern and his wife Sharon of Centreville, VA.,
two sisters; S. Mary Pigeon of Barre, E. Louise Beauvais of Spencer, 11
grandchildren; Virginia Marso of Aurora, CO., James Imm of San Antonio, TX.,
Lisa Imm of WI., Lawrence Imm, III of Prescott, WI., Laura Gerken of
Middlefield, OH., Michelle Tremain of Hereford, AZ., Walter Hardern of
Gardner, James Hardern of Dayton, OH., Patricia Hardern of Ogden, UT.,
Daniel Hardern of Chandler, AZ., Carol Hardern of Centreville, VA. and 10
great-grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by a son, David L. Hardern in December of last year, a
daughter, Janice L. Hardern in 2003, a grand daughter, Amy Imm in 1978, a
brother, R. Morton Cooper, three sisters; Elizabeth Cooper, Myrtle Miller
and Sylvia Cote.
She was born in Leicester, the daughter of James William and Lillian Maud
(Cooper) Cooper.
She was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Gardner and was a
Soldier in the Salvation Army (former Quinsigamond Chapter) in Worcester
from the 1970's to the 1990's. She was also a former textile worker for many
years in several area mills.
There will be a Graveside Service, Friday, February 8 at 11:30 a.m. in
Highland Memorial Park, 1 Rhode Island Ave., Johnston, RI. There are no
calling hours. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made to the
