Robert “Bob” Kronberg, 71 of Franklin died February 5 in Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Dolores A. (Sousa) Kronberg who died in 2003.
Born in Boston, August 13, 1936 the son of the late Alfred and Alice (Hopwood) Kronberg, Mr. Kronberg grew up in Needham where he was a graduate of Needham High School and had lived in Franklin since 1961.
Mr. Kronberg had been the owner of Kronberg Janitorial Company in Franklin for many years before retiring.
Mr. Kronberg served in the Army during the Korean War attaining the rank of Private First Class.
He was survived by his grandson, William T. Kronberg of Franklin.
His funeral will be held on Friday, February 8 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin at 8:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 9:00 a.m.
Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
