Patenaude of Plymouth Hector E. “Pat” 94, Feb. 2, at Jordan Hospital. School Teacher in Plymouth for many years. Husband of the late Jean (Whiting) Patenaude. Father of Jeanne / Joni Patenaude Lane and her husband David of NY, NY and Plymouth, and the late Anne Patenaude, and son in law Terry Vaughn of NJ. Grandfather of Jennifer Whiting Lane of NY, and Elizabeth Anne Vaughn and Alexander Andre’ Vaughn both of NJ. He also leaves nieces Bonnie Stacy of PA, Jeanne Taxion and Mary Denise Pfiffer of Webster, MA, and nephews George Clarke of Plymouth, and Kenneth “Buzzy” Clarke of Marion and several other nieces and nephews. Mr. Patenaude was a man of many talents he was the head of the Industrial Arts Department in Plymouth High School took part in the design of the shops, he loved wood working and making things to give away to friends, he graduated from Fitchburg State College, his first teaching job in Plymouth, joined the Army Air Corp during WWII. He returned to his teaching on his return from the war. He was a member of 456th Bomb Group and attended their reunions every year and would make Christmas Ornaments, for all who attended with a story of where the wood came from and what it was to represent. He has been an active member of the Plymouth Rotary Club since 1992 and was a “Paul Harris Fellow” He was a member of the Woodchuck Club that made toys for children, loved fishing, watching birds at his feeders A funeral service will be held on Saturday Feb. 9, at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Pilgrimage, Town Square Plymouth, MA. Visiting Hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St. (Rte 3A) N. Plymouth, Friday Feb. 8, 6:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may to the Church of the Pilgrimage, Town Sq. Plymouth, MA 02360. U.S. Army Air Corp 304 Bomb Wing, Master Sgt. serving European, African, Middle Eastern Theaters during WWII. Burial will be in Vine Hills Cemetery Plymouth.
