Carlton E. Cook, 71, of Mattapoisett died Sunday February 3, 2008 unexpectedly at home. He was the husband of the late Nancy (McLean) Cook.
Born in Haverhill, the son of the late Clifton and Ruth Cook, he was raised in Plaistow, NH, and lived in Amherst, NH for most of his life, before retiring to Mattapoisett.
Mr. Cook was formerly employed as an electrical engineer for Sanders Associates and Grummans.
He graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1958 and then served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He later received his Master's degree from Northeastern University.
Survivors include three children, Deborah Cook of New Bedford, Cathy Wage of Fairport, NY, and Robert Cook of Franconia, NH; a sister, Janet Zetterburg of Dover, NH; a grandaughter, Katie Wage; and his brother-in-law, Arthur McLean of Mattapoisett.
