Andover, Ma. – Ralph E. Paquin, of Andover and formally of Methuen 83 years old died Monday February 4, 2008 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
Son of the late Albert and Eveline (Devy) Paquin he received his education in the Lowell school system.
He was the beloved husband of Cecile (Desrochers- Hennessy).
Born and raised in Lowell, Ma. he was a U.S. Marine WW ll veteran from 1943-1945.
Ralph worked in local butcher shops as a meat cutter for many years as well as AVCO Corp. and JM Fields both of Lawrence. He enjoyed traveling, cooking, out door grilling, and getting together for family outings.
He was a communicant of Saint Monics’s Parish Methuen for the last 60 years.
In addition to his wife of 61 years, he is survived by six children, Charles Paquin and his wife Linda of Tewksbury, Dianne Letch and her husband Alan of the Villiages, Florida, Mary Ann Bergeron and her husband Ronald of Methuen, Thomas Hennessy and his wife Janet of the Villiages, Florida,
Robert Hennessy and his wife Maria of Woburn, Ma., and Michael Hennessy and his wife Patricia of Methuen, 18 grandchildren, 27 greatgrandchildren,and one greatgreat grandson. He also leaves one sister, Pauline Duffy of Lowell, one brother Maurice and his wife Angie of Lowell and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday morning at 10:30 A.M. in Saint Monica’s Church with burial to take place at a later date.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
