Florence (Silver) Soskin of Revere died on February 3, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Soskin.
Florence was born in Chelsea and had been a resident of Revere for most of her life. She was educated in the Revere schools and high school. She also attended the Burrett Business School in Boston. Florence was a production manager at New England Sleep Products and also happily worked with her late husband Donald at Caras and Soskin Grocery Store in Revere. Florence was an active member of Hadassah as well as a member of the Sisterhood at Congregation Tifereth Israel of Revere.
Florence was the loving mother of Steven Soskin and his wife Mary Beth of Tewksbury and Kenneth Soskin and his wife Ann of China. She was the dear sister of Sylvia Sonberg of Concord, NH and brother in-law Jerry.
Services at the Torf Funeral Service, 151 Washington Ave. (Cary Sq.) Chelsea on Thursday, February 7th at 1:00 PM. Interment in Everett. Rabbi Abraham Teitel of Revere will officiate. Memorial observance at the home of Steven and Mary Beth Soskin, Tewksbury, on Thursday only.
