Ronald D. Cedergren of West Yarmouth, formerly of Needham and Newton Upper Falls died on Sunday, February 3 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was 67 years old. Born in Newton, Ronald was a graduate of Newton High School and Northeastern University. He worked for GTE in Needham as an electrical engineer for his entire working career, until he retired. He had lived in Needham for many years before retiring to West yarmouth over 10 years ago. He was the dear son of the late Karl and Marion (Truax) Cedergren and the brother of Lois Batey and her husband Fred of Framingham and the late Robert Cedergren. Uncle of Judith Smith and her husband Donald of Marlboro and Cynthia Witherell and her husband Greg of West Yarmouth and the great uncle of Andrew and Matthew Smith. A Funeral Service will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Thursday, February 7 at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting will be held from 11:00 AM to noon prior to the service. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers donations in Ronald’s name may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701
