Hastings, III and his wife Mary of Malden, Joanne Quinn and her husband David of Saugus and Louann Graffam and her husband James of Georgetown. Brother of Joseph Hastings of Haddonfield, NJ. Cherished grandfather of Jillian, Andrea, Benjamin, Lauren, Nicholas, Zachary, Bianca, John IV and Kiera. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Saturday morning, February 9th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, West Peabody. Expressions of sympathy in his name may be made to any Hospice Organization or to the American Cancer Society.
Born in Malden and a lifelong resident until moving to The Villages 7 years ago, John passed away from injuries sustained after being hit by a car while entering St. Marks Church in Florida 2 weeks ago. Up until his retirement he was the manager of Builders Kitchen in Wakefield and was a member of the Malden Lions Club, member of the Thomson Country Club in North Reading and board member of the ITAM in Florida.
