Tiny Annette Collins, 76, of Mystic died Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Monday, February 4, 2008 at Big Creek Baptist Church in Irwin County with the Rev. Wayne McCrimmon, Rev. Ed Reeves, and Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Sunday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Collins was born January 23, 1932 in Lumber City, Georgia to the late James J. and Dolly Parrish Clements. She lived in the community most of her life and had graduated from Mystic High School. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church, the Ladies Sunday School Class, the Adult Choir, and a former Sunday School Teacher. She had worked as a cabinet maker and was a former employee of Fitzgerald Underwear
Mrs. Collins is survived by her husband: Walter J. “Dock” Collins of Mystic; daughter: Lois Collins of Mystic; son and daughter-in-law: W. Edward and Eva Raye Collins of Lands Crossing; three grandchildren;Walter (Randi) Collins, Melody (Joe) Cowart, Derrick (Lisa Self) Collins, two great-grandchildren, Ansleigh and Braydon Cowart; and one sister and brother-in-law: Lucy and Joe Clark of Athens.
