Obituary

Dartmouth - Leo A. Cadoret, 87, of Dartmouth, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2008, unexpectedly at home. He was the husband of the late Aurore I. (Bouchard) Cadoret.

Born in Fall River, son of the late Thomas L. and Regina (LaPoint) Cadoret, he had lived in Dartmouth since 1937. A United States Navy veteran of WWII, he served during the Occupation Tokyo on August 28, 1945 and the Asiatic-Pacific and American Theatres of War. He was a Communicant of St. George Church, Westport. Mr. Cadoret was the owner / operator of Musical Beach Boat Rentals in Dartmouth and also worked for Brink’s Armored Car Company in New Bedford for 12 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local # 59 of New Bedford and a member of the Town of Dartmouth Auxiliary Police.

Survivors include a son: Paul L. Cadoret of Galloway, NJ; Godchild: Pauline Walski of Venice, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

He was brother of the late Arthur Cadoret, Thomas Cadoret and George Cadoret.

Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, February 4, 2008 from the Potter Funeral Home at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. George Church, Westport at 9:00 A.M.

Calling hours Sunday 2 - 5 P.M.

Interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
