Obituary

Jon H. Paxton, 48 of Franklin died January 30 suddenly in his home.
Born in Stoughton, Mass. on August 27, 1959, the son of Janet (Coffin) Paxton of Franklin and the late Harold Paxton, Mr. Paxton had lived in Franklin for the most of his life.
He was a 1977 graduate of Franklin High School and had attended tractor trailer school in Rhode Island.
Mr. Paxton had been a truck driver for Garelick Farms in Franklin and had also worked at Wrentham Developmental Center in Wrentham.
Mr. Paxton was an avid sports fan, especially of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Ruth Zide and her husband, Barry of Medway and Kathryn Loder and her husband, Phil of Foxboro.
He was the brother of the late Franklin Paxton.
He is also survived by his nieces, Sarah, Sheena, Amanada and her husband Joe and greatniece, Jasmyn.
His funeral service will be held on Monday, February 4 in the Franklin Federated Church at 11:30 a.m.
Following cremation, burial will be in Union Street Cemetery in Franklin.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Franklin Federated Church, 171 Main St., Franklin, MA 02038.
