Obituary

Louis “Lou” Catino, 78 years of W. Bridgewater formerly of Medford died Wednesday January 30, 2008 at the Kindred Hospital after a period of failing health. He was the loving husband of Reesie (Gillis) Catino. Born and raised in Medford, for the past 2 years he had been a resident of Matfield Woods in W. Bridgewater. During the Korean Conflict he served in the US Army. In 1991 he retired as a work foreman for the City of Medford Highway Dept. He enjoyed Italian cooking and traveling especially to Hampton Beach.

In addition to his wife Reesie (Gillis) Catino, he is survived by 2 sisters Phyllis DiCarlo of Stoneham and Jenny Martell of Everett and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother in law of John and Mary Sullivan and uncle of Katie all of Brockton.He was also the brother of the late Pat Catino.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton
Monday at 10am. Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church, W. Bridgewater at 11am. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1pm. Visiting hours Sunday 1-4pm.
